Hooping

Electro luminisent toys at the knitting club... 

With special thanks to Lindsy for bringing the first adult sized hula hoop into the valley. We loved the idea so much we went a little further to electrify the design. Introducing hopefully the first of many L.E.D (light emitting diodes) Hula hoops to brighten up the winter nights. This hoop is constructed with 20 superbright blue LED's,  The power is supplied by four AA batteries wired into the hoop though spaced out to balance the weight evenly, the batteries are rechargable and there is an in built connector which means you can plug in the hoop to recharge without any disassembly or other jumping through hoops!

Looking ahead we woud like to organise a hooping workshop where the basic componets could be easly assembled into bespoke hoops, if you are intrested in taking part drop us a line at maryroze(at)theknittingclub.net
